In the early 1971, Mekotex (Pvt).Ltd. started from a small set-up as a fabric trading in Textile industry. Over a very short period of time, we founded our own processing unit for dyeing/printing in the year of 1979; with our countless efforts and seamless progress, we established our very first spinning unit in 1990. International demand of home textile led to the creation Kam International in the year of 1992. Alongside growth and expansion Mekotex and Kam International needed a weaving unit. In 1996 we put up an operation of Dobby looms/Jacqurd Looms/Sulzer looms and Air-jet looms. In the year of 1999, Mekotex established its name in Denim and in a very short period of time become one of the biggest producers, sellers, and exporters of Denim fabrications. 2007, was the year of up-gradation of plant and equipment to compete the international market in processing and weaving. Keeping up with the expectations of our customers, a huge investment in latest digital printing technology was made in 2016. Kam International now has the biggest capacity of Digital Printing in Pakistan. In present, a complete up-gradation of the whole processing plant (completion date February 2020). Latest wider width high speed Digital Printing Machine added (operational date end January 2020). In addition of 150 Air-jet Waving Machines (tentative completion date June 2020). A complete new narrow width continuous dyeing plant (completion date end 2020).
